I am a psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and communication anthropologist with a focus on visual culture. I work with images, telling stories through photography.
I began in cinema and sound, studying screenwriting with Giuliano Montaldo, directing with Sergio Rubini and Giovanni Veronesi, and sound design with Enrico Cosimi. As a filmmaker I made short films, music videos and documentaries, for MTV and Current TV among others. In photography I trained with Eolo Perfido, Marco Sconocchia, Camillo Pasquarelli, Fabio Renzi, Ludovica De Santis and Francesca Leonardi.
I have been published in the Italian monthly Left, for which I created a photo story on the Guča festival in Serbia. My work has been exhibited in Milan, Paris and Rome.
My latest project, Not Still, is an image and sound installation exploring the inner lives of a group of young people in mental health care, created together with them. It was presented at the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea (GNAMC) in Rome in October 2026.
