These words from anthropologist Ernesto De Martino have inspired this part of the project. The concept of physical health must inherently include mental health. However, in the treatment of various diseases, medicine too often separates the body from the mind, creating a cold barrier between doctor and patient. _______________________________________________________________________ "Come vi è una magia nera vi è anche un modo di intendere la scienza come tecnicismo moralmente indifferente e quindi compatibile per esempio col segreto atomico e la guerra nucleare". Sono le parole dell'antropologo Ernesto De Martino da cui ho preso ispirazione per questa parte del progetto. Il concetto di salute fisica non può non comprendere quello di salute mentale. La medicina, nella cura delle varie malattie, troppo spesso fa una scissione tra corpo e mente, costruendo una fredda barriera tra medico e paziente.
